Project Goal:

The establish a scalable, sustainable, community-led model for management of the 66’ reserve surrounding the Three Lagoons System in northern Belize by 2030.

Project Objectives:

  1. To strengthen the institutional capacity, governance, and management of TLSP, with strengthened organizational collaboration by 2026.  
  2. To demonstrate a scalable model for community-based management of the 66’ reserve in northern Belize by 2026.  

Expected Outputs:

  1. TLSP operates within a dedicated, professional, well-equipped working environment by July 2025. 
  2. Governance of TLSP is strengthened by building the capacity of the BoD and the adoption of best practices by 2026. 
  3. TLSP operations are guided by a 5-year strategic plan by 2026.  
  4. TLSP annual calendar of community activities implemented throughout 2025. 
  5. Learning exchange with another CBO from central or southern Belize conducted before 2026.
