Vacancy for Project Officer

The Belize Fund for a Sustainable Future is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Officer to support the implementation of our Blue Bonds Program and strengthen the impact of our conservation and community-based initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage grants under the Belize Fund’s Blue Bonds Program, from application screening to project close-out
  • Provide technical assistance and organizational assessments to recipient organizations
  • Review progress reports, conduct check-ins, and ensure compliance with Belize Fund guidelinesĀ 
  • Support the development of funding windows and the Fund’s grantmaking strategy
  • Assist in M&E of projects and collaborate with partners and stakeholders
  • Represent the Belize Fund at meetings, forums, and public-facing eventsĀ 
Minimum Requirements:

ā—¾ Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration (project-focused), or a related area
ā—¾ At least 3 years of project management experience relevant to this roleĀ 
ā—¾ Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
ā—¾ Familiarity with biodiversity conservation issues
ā—¾ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
ā—¾ Valid driver’s license (field travel required)Ā
