The Belize Fund for a Sustainable Future is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Officer to support the implementation of our Blue Bonds Program and strengthen the impact of our conservation and community-based initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage grants under the Belize Fundās Blue Bonds Program, from application screening to project close-out
- Provide technical assistance and organizational assessments to recipient organizations
- Review progress reports, conduct check-ins, and ensure compliance with Belize Fund guidelinesĀ
- Support the development of funding windows and the Fundās grantmaking strategy
- Assist in M&E of projects and collaborate with partners and stakeholders
- Represent the Belize Fund at meetings, forums, and public-facing eventsĀ
Minimum Requirements:
ā¾ Bachelorās degree in management, business administration (project-focused), or a related area
ā¾ At least 3 years of project management experience relevant to this roleĀ
ā¾ Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
ā¾ Familiarity with biodiversity conservation issues
ā¾ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
ā¾ Valid driverās license (field travel required)Ā
